Why the budget is low

In Mexico, USD $90,000 equals more than MXN $2,000,000.

Every dollar goes several times further thanks to alliances already in place: we do not spend on cameras, lighting, audio, or studios — we already have them. Locations are not rented either: the director has direct connections with the local government in Campeche. Capital goes to what actually moves the film forward — makeup and effects, technical and creative crew salaries, on-set catering, transportation, and post-production.
